hi emma! so... two questions: what are your pc specs and what reshade preset do you use? love your blog

hi, thank you!! ☺️ i have a median desktop pc (highly recommend actually, it was very affordable!) it’s an intel core i7, has 16gb ram and i have a Nvidia GTX 1070! not the newest but it’s holding up pretty well

as for reshade, i don’t really know if i’d call it a “preset” lmao, i basically just turn on ambient light, fxaa and one of the DOF filters. i think my reshade is a little broken so i can’t seem to save presets 😭 i can upload screenshots of the settings though, if you’d like them!

Hey there and thank you! I use a tweaked version of Sumahama. Been using this for a long time and I have adjusted it to my own liking over the years, so I would not be able to explain what I exactly did anymore. You will also need an older version of Reshade to make this one work I think. The creator has deactivated but you can still find it here.

I love the light in your photos? Is this a reshade or just Photoshop?

Thanks! I try to go as edit-free as possible in my photos so that people know what they’re getting. The majority of the lighting comes as-isfrom the (customized) in-game lighting and weather files.

However, I do do a slight amount of editing as the screenshot tool in TS3 produces darker and higher contrast images than what’s actually seen on the screen.As such, in Photoshop I usually go for around +35 brightness and -25 contrast. I sometimes also toss in a high pass filter to fix up the edge contrast if necessary.

Hiya! No I don’t use any reshade. I have no idea how it works, and I’m scared my laptop won’t be able to deal with it. The light is all from the game, and the pictures for my Isle of Spright BACC is edited with this action, and my Neck of the Woods challenge uses this filter.
