Even with it being her wedding day, Leta was still nervous. She was happy but, couldn’t help the slight nerves. The one thing she had been glad for was that she had Newt there. Theseus helped but, he couldn’t be there before the ceremony, and Leta didn’t have any female friends that could help her get ready so she had asked Newt to come and help a little. “I think I’m just... nervous. It’s not like everyone else’s wedding. Most girls have their father walk them down the aisle, or their mother to be there.” She bit her lip a little and looked up towards her friend. “I am glad to have you though.”

Jonathan Crane worked as a doctor for the Insane Asylum in Gotham. For a long time he had been suffering with a split personality disorder that he used against the inmates for a time to scare them straight with fear toxins. The other was called Scarecrow. Things got to the point where Jonathan searched for help to get rid of Scarecrow. He had this strange operation done to him in a lab that truly split them apart. He was glad to finally be one person again....but it came with a price. Scarecrow became a horrible beast like creature that feeds off fear becoming anything the person fears; a monster shapeshifter.

Jonathan Crane still worked for the asylum working with the inmates....but he had Scarecrow with him. He didnt want to let him loose in the city but he had gotten out a few times ending up with gun shot wounds and other wounds. Jonathan quickly came to realize if the creature was harmed so was he. They were connected still in some ways.

He had no idea how he was going to live on like this but he would keep the creature fed so they both remained in health. Jonathan also made sure to keep it close so it couldnt make off into the city again. The stories those poor people told were horrible enough. Others didn't deserve to suffer...innocent people didnt deserve to suffer, but these Criminals did.

It was another day at the Asylum,Jonathan Crane was getting out of his car when his phone rings. He shuts the door walking away heading to Arkham Asylum pulling his phone out answering it. " Crane speaking." He listens to the other as he walks to the building. He hangs up after saying," I'll get it done." He puts his phone away running a hand through his hair going inside the building. Once he was cleared by security he goes to his office a file waiting for him. It was another patient for him to take care of.

Jonathan sighs going to his desk sitting there flipping through the file. Then looks over to a dark corner of the room. " You'll be fed soon enough." He then was looking back to the file. Scarecrow was restless his eyes glowing red in the dark corner.

Theseus had stopped at nothing to try and find who had taken his brother. He knew that Newt didn’t tend to answer letters as it was but, when he hadn’t even answered the door when Theseus went to visit, that was where the older Scamander’s concern came from.

He had gotten into contact with Newt’s assistant, asking where his brother was and when Bunty had told him that even she hadn’t heard from Newt, that was when Theseus knew that something must have happened to him. He immediately threw himself into finding Newt, and when he did, he had a small team with him to arrest the traffikers.

When he found his brother, Theseus got to work on getting him free straight away. “What did they do to you?” He frowned and steadied the younger Scamander. “Newt? It’s Theseus. Can you hear me?”

“If nothing else, I must say that I admire your nerve, Mr. Scamander.” The remark was casual as Gellert watched Newt from a slight distance. Newt hadn’t sought him out; it was actually the opposite. Once Gellert had realized the blood pact was missing, Newt was the logical answer. But he wasn’t here to attack, or even try to start something with the other man.

A part of him was awed by the young man. He had no strong convictions (he claimed), and yet managed to get in Gellert’s way all the same. “You are still as interesting as the day we met, but my annoyance with you will overtake that interest if you do not watch your step.”

Newt slept, lying on his chest during the night, listening to his heartbeat. This made the god smile when he woke up earlier than his beloved. In the past twenty minutes Loki knew Newt was awake, he felt, but he didn't say anything as the god continued to stroke the wizard's hair. Then Newt made this comment, and Loki hummed with a smile.

"Where are you sore, my love?" He whispered softly in a hushed tone as his long fingers combed through Newt's hair again, "I will kiss it better."

Newt wouldn’t get far before a large hand clapped down on his shoulder, pulling him into what would have been a friendly gesture by anyone but Handsome Jack...

“Now just a minute there, pumpkin, that was pretty RUDE of you, don’cha think?” His grip tightened. “Why so secretive, hm? C’mon, let’s see what you got there.”

Years ago, Queenie had visited Newt with an enchanted Jacob in tow. She'd need him to catch her, make her stop something she couldn't stop herself from doing. Of course everything had gone terribly wrong after that.

So perhaps she was on his street, once again looking to be caught. In part, she just wanted answers, to know Jacob and Tina were safe, and perhaps better off without her, happier without her, though the very thought made her heart ache.

Still, she paused in the middle of the street, looking up at the all too familiar house, wondering if Newt even still lived there. What would he think if he saw her standing there? Would he turn her in despite his hatred for aurors? Would he fight her?
