Fall on the opening Triple Axel. Popped the first jump of that combo into a single but got the second jump off. Fall on the Double Flip. Very small three jump combo, and last jump looked under. Nice spin. Fall on the Double Axel. Popped that Lutz into a single. Nice choreo sequence. Nice Triple Loop. Nice spin. Nice step sequence. Nice spin.
Supportive audience for a very, very rough program from Mitchell Friess. A couple of falls, so many pops and ur’s. That was very rough to watch.

Solid Double Axel. A bit shaky on the Triple-Triple and might have been under. Nice spin. Solid Triple Loop but may have been a bit borderline. Nice spin. Nice step sequence. Nice spin.
That was a good program from Mitchell Friess. Some possible issues with under rotations, but otherwise a solid program for him.
59.14 and into second behind Torgashev
that friess guy kept falling😥 you can tell he is nervous .
Nice Double Axel. A bit small on the 3-2 combo. A bit short on the Triple Lutz. Nice Triple Loop. Nice spin. Underrotated the Triple Lutz, maybe even downgraded, and didn’t get the combo off. Nice three jump combo, though a bit small. Nice Triple Toe.
He’s a bit rough around the edges, the program was a bit rough for Mitchell Friess. He needs to work a bit on speed and power, especially in his jumps, to get a bit more height and get them fully rotated. He’s here, though - he qualified and that’s a big accomplishment.

Very nice Double Axel, but only a double it looked like. Fall on the Triple Lutz. Fall on the Triple Flip, and missed the combo. A little off coming out of that last spin, but the spins good. I liked the step sequence.
That was an off program from Mitchell Friess. I’m sure that is not how he wanted his first Nationals outing to go.
