When I watch the world burn all I think about is you
There must be something in the Kool-Aid
Cruising through the doom days
God knows what is real and what is fake
Last couple years have been a mad trip
How'd you look so perfect?
You must have some portraits in the attic
We'll stay offline so no-one gets hurt
Hiding from the real world

lavender : how easy is it to gain your muse’s trust ? once their trust is broken , how might one go about mending it ?
I'm assuming that this is for Mitchell so here we go.
I would say that Mitchell is in the middle when it comes to trust. He isn't completely slow to trust and he isn't completely quick to trust people. You definitely need to show him you deserve his trust. He's been hurt so much.
Once you break his trust, it's hard to gain it back. He is quick to run away from things that are bad for him or hurt him. Gaining it back has to be done by slowly proving that you deserve to be trusted again.
"I've got demons running round in my head
And they feed on insecurities I have
Won't you lay your healing hands on my chest?
Let your ritual clean
Soak the ropes with your holy water
Tie me down as you read out the words
Set me free from my jealousy
Won't you exorcise my mind?"

So I started listening to some Irish Gaelic music, cause I have major wanderlust for Ireland and an insane fascination with all things Irish. So anyway, the music. Listening to Irish Gaelic folk songs made me think of songs like this being things Mitchell holds really dearly but rarely ever enjoys or expresses to others because it reminds him too much of home that it hurts him, even though he loves these folk songs more than any other music.
