The Hunter
Closed starter for @mitchell-page
It had been long day and winter would be arriving soon. Wood had been cut and her hut warm. A pot if rabbit stew slow cooking over the fire. Now all she needed to do was hunt for the perfect buck. She'd use the horns to help make weapons to protect herself, the skin for clothes, and to put away the meat to e as t throughout the winter.
Shifting she began her hunt, but it ended suddenly when she witnessed a hunt gone wrong. Stupid coyotes were approaching the injured man. She jumped to his aid and scared the scavengers off before turning to the man who seemed to fade in and out.
When she was sure he had had blacked out she shifted and made the slow progress of getting him to her cabin. Once there she was able to get the heavy clothes and boots off. She checked on the stew after tending to the wounds. It left the man shirtless and bandaged.
She had him set up comfortably in the couch near the heat while she made him food, a handmade wooden cup filled with water near him.
