🐲 5. Do you prefer to make human, animal, monster, or_____ characters? Why?

Monster definitely! Humans and animals are a fair bit too limiting. Like, this animal HAS to look atleast somewhat like this, or this human has to look like THIS, but monsters can be absolutely ANYTHING and it’s great

🎨 6. When creating a character, do you come up withthe visual concept or the written concept first?

Visual first, usually a sketch somewhere. i develop their look and stem their personality from that. when i create a character they’re a handful of sketches using expressions then I go from there.

📌 7. Do you have characters that you know you’llnever use, but can’t bear to get rid of/recycle?

depends on what you mean by use. like, incorporate them into a big fat story? yeah absolutely, but I loved their concepts/designs too much to part with them. if by ‘use’ you mean give them a personality/backstory- nope! I usually can find a way to give them something unique... though, admittedly, a few of my ocs can be quite similar.

yeah. a few actually. fighty, fearless attitude? yeah. confedience? yeah. cool creepy teeth? yeah. acidic ink saliva? also yeah

hhhhhhhh yeah definitely.... picket is chock full of anxiety....euca is aggressive to the point of ridiculousness......athena has trouble trusting people....carson with their abandonment issues.... theres..... alot i vent w my characters.

interests? yeah. spiders and weird creepy teeth and bird people and slime and flowers
