To be fair, it would be really weird, yeah.

But it'd still be funny, which is more than I can say about this movie. "The Lone Ranger" feels like a kamikaze movie, something done for the sake of those involved instead of the audience or the characters. I'm not gonna pretend I'm a big fan of the Lone Ranger as a character, but this is a very bad movie if you want to care for him or his cause.

It's still got a lot of clever and enjoyable set pieces, though you have to get through an absolutely noxious poisoned swamp full of wolves in order to get there.

Is it worth it? Not really. You can check the clips on YouTube and save yourself two hours.

So yeah, can't recommend. And now if you excuse me, I need to convince my friend here to put this saddle on.

Seriously though, I think this was one of the most direct movies I’ve ever seen.

You wouldn’t think a movie about twelve people stuck in a room talking about a murder could be interesting, but here we are. While it’s no cinematic achievement it managed to stay entertaining and this is all thanks to how well all the actors work together and how good the characters are.

While I think some moments in this movie are a bit too over the top (that one last juror at the end went a bit cartoony) I can still recommend it for how interesting and engaging it is.

And now, if you excuse me, I’m busy with this game. I’m pretty sure the murder weapon was the knife.

Seriously though, this movie is stupid.

The story is stupid. The writing is stupid. The characters are stupid. The comedy is stupid. The action scenes are stupid. The setting is stupid. This movie is so stupid it extends its stupid to even the way it looks! The costumes are stupid. The music is stupid. Oh my Luna, this movie is just filled with stupid!

But the giant mechanical spider is actually pretty cool. So if you like giant robots and a gigantic soft-spot for steampunk settings, don’t miss this one. You might not regret it.

And now, if you excuse me, I need to move even further away from it. Come on Myth! Pump it into overdrive!
