I kinda lost track of that for a second, which I think is rather appropriate for this movie, if I'm honest.

There's a worrying amount of unfocused energy on this movie, to the point I question its purpose. I'm sure it was always meant to be entertaining of course, but I think they may have wanted to entertain the Tik Tok crowd, a movie meant to be experienced in short videos watched in vertical format.

That's not a movie. I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Vine. I've seen 6 second movies more engaging than this.

Fox McCloud is a hottie, though.

Commission for Charonib. · - · -  · - · - · - · - · - · - · - · - · This is me, every time I go to my local retailer and look at their Criterion section. Criterion is really good, it's not all arty farty movies, they also have Godzilla, Armageddon, and K-Pop Demon Hunters in there, they have a pretty eclectic selection of movies with lots of good extras and great stuff in there.

They're also expensive as fuck. Super worth it, but boy is your wallet gonna feel it the moment you grab more than one movie. What Jamesy is holding there is about $750 worth of movies right there. If I could afford it I'd totally grab these...yes, and the Kubrick set too.

This is a great show, and I'd consider it a corner stone of modern animation.

At times it runs the risk of disappearing into itself with its many themes and depths, but thanks to the genuinely likeable characters and incredibly engaging acting, the story finds itself arriving to a good port. Very much like its own characters, if you hang onto these characters you'll be able to get through anything they throw at you.

19. Titanic (1997) Audio Commentary

In this commentary, Jamesy and Leafy take a look at James Cameron's "Titanic", one of the highest grossing movies of all time, winner of 11 Academy Awards, and basically the best excuse Cameron had to dive to the wreck and take pictures of it.

The Birb and the Lemming spend three hours nerding about boats, historical figures, the many (real) stories that happened on that boat, what made this movie so popular, why James Cameron is James Cameron, the many versions of this story there are, and a bunch of other stuff. Are they funny? That's up to you to find out!

This commentary was recorded on January 2026, while we did our best to keep it timeless we may refer to events and information that might be a bit out of date as of time of publication.

Seriously, how much of a stick in the mud do you have to be to hate a movie that covers such a wide range of tone, feelings, and topics without feeling rushed or manipulative? Even the goofy stuff in "Halloween (2018)" and "Halloween Kills" has a super satisfying conclusion in "Halloween Ends".

I'm calling you guys out, give "Halloween Ends" another chance, you might see something in it you didn't the first time around.

Why did no one told me this movie had werewolves in it!?

It's a bummer they show up for such a short scene, though. We have a scene with a gathering of lesbian witches that TF into werewolves, why wasn't this half an hour long!?
