Big Post-Apoc Grizzly Bear Lady!
Die Nacht mal wieder die Notaufnahme besucht.
If I wake up Tuesday morning and find out that the new universal champion is brock lesnar, I will personally fly to the headquarters and curb stomp every person that works there.
What a busy week! Put together a little mini-trailer for the gameplay demo.
If you haven’t already, check it out at jasozz.itch.io/monsters-in-the-neighborhood
Been a minute since I drew anything, so I rolled a MitN character and ended up with a middle aged professional illustrator who got turned into a Flying Squirrel due car accident-based goop exposure. He's just trying to make rent.
Time to start on revision #10 of the Goop Dice, I suppose?
I have some ideas for how I can go about making everything tougher and easier to print and work with, but I feel like I'm butting up against the limits of what I can accomplish with 3d printing.
I'm starting to consider finding a manufacturer if only to finally get past these 3d print limitations, without having to invest in a bunch of new tools and materials that I just do not have space for.
That would be very pricey though… and I'm not working at enough cons to justify the investment. (Not to mention that traveling to and selling at cons is a very expensive, exhausting, and not especially profitable idea these days)
Maybe a kickstarter could fund this project? It's a more reasonable way to fund such a thing (if I found someone who could make clear/tough/water tight dice blanks and possibly also caps without a 6 figure pricetag) and also sell directly to potential customers at the same time, but I also have a distinct lack of following.
I think there is a point I could reach where all of the design and engineering problems could be solved, but then I'd be left with all of the marketing and business problems to figure out and that's a headache I don't want to consider at the moment.
You know me... nothing I love better than giving myself a tight deadline so I can finish a big project right before a con!
I'm hitting up GenCon for a Saturday and I wanted to make goop dice to give out to all my mutant friends and people signed up for the Mutants in the Now event. So I'm now wrapping up my ninth major revision on these dice! They're gonna look so cool!
Canister of Goop Emojis I made last night for the J/K Games Mutants in the Now discord. Now you can spill glowing mystery goop on your friends!
