For once in her life Miyoi took the initiative instead of waiting for someone else to drag her along. A simple text asking Mitsuri out to the ball after wondering whether or not she should just ignore it or wait for her to text the youkai. But the customers and coworkers caught on to her anxiety and encouraged her to go through with it rather than letting it simmer.
The main problem began to rear its head the moment after she sent it out and got a response almost instantly back. Wearing her usual clothes again out to somewhere that formal seemed less than desired, even if her wardrobe was less than desired. An issue that was solved rather quickly by some external aid of individuals who assisted her. But that still couldn't fix the anxiety waiting outside all fixed up waiting for her partner to arrive.
"Please don't be late." Was the only thought that ran through her mind "It's already weird just standing here looking like this. I don't need people also thinking I'm going in all alone!"
