"it's not mine." Sun says with a loose shrug of his shoulder. This cat had randomly ran up to him and jumped right into his arms about an hour ago. Yet, he still held her in his arms.

"I'm not even sure if it has an owner." His tail flicks, almost irritably. He isn't irritated though. Just, perhaps still caught off guard with everything that happened? He refuses to look at the cat. Even when she meows her tiny calls to get his attention.

For once in her life Miyoi took the initiative instead of waiting for someone else to drag her along. A simple text asking Mitsuri out to the ball after wondering whether or not she should just ignore it or wait for her to text the youkai. But the customers and coworkers caught on to her anxiety and encouraged her to go through with it rather than letting it simmer.

The main problem began to rear its head the moment after she sent it out and got a response almost instantly back. Wearing her usual clothes again out to somewhere that formal seemed less than desired, even if her wardrobe was less than desired. An issue that was solved rather quickly by some external aid of individuals who assisted her. But that still couldn't fix the anxiety waiting outside all fixed up waiting for her partner to arrive.

"Please don't be late." Was the only thought that ran through her mind "It's already weird just standing here looking like this. I don't need people also thinking I'm going in all alone!"

'...I don't even know where to start."

For most people the idea of a blind date would certainly be a breath of fresh air. Being able to potentially meet someone who shares similar interests as yourself without the hassle of actually going out and finding said person. It was great for some people...and a nightmare for others.

How Miyoi found herself sitting across from another person who also signed up for this was anyone's guess. But she was stuck in the situation and had to make the most of it. Regardless of whether or not she make a fool of herself.

All the youkai did was keep reminding herself that these lasted 15 minutes. If nothing dreadful happened then she could walk on free and go somewhere else...

"I'm really sorry! I've never done this before and my co-workers thought it would be a good idea for me. I don't even know what this "speed dating" thing even is beyond talking about things we like."

The worst part was she seemed...nice. Bright hair and a nice smile. Much more ready for this then Miyoi ever could have been.

War heard a strange jingle; then looked down at the device which was attached to the demonic belt on his hip. 'Hrm...this thing again..' He grabbed it into his large hand, and glanced at the screen.

It was that girl, of course. No one else saw fit to communicate with him through the cellphone. So, regarding his promise, he attempted to send a message back; using the voice-to-speech function that he'd been shown by someone else.

"While I do appreciate you bringing me Mitsuri I can't say I'm any good with rounding up animals as probably you are." The reasons she did tag along were twofold though. For one she didn't want the pink haired swordswoman going out on her own again with everything that was happening around the city. But secondly was that Miyoi was good at helping people out.

It just depended on what the task entailed that's all.

"...So you'll have to remind me again why you decided to drag me along to do this task in particular? It's not like I can fight like you can if one of them runs at me. And the last time either of us decided to go out and try and handle anything too dangerously it didn't end exactly well."

Granted the paper did say they were herbivores so neither of them were in any danger of being eaten alive. But everyone said the "Binge Chungeous" creature wasn't exactly sane with who it did and didn't attack. So either this was going to go rather swimmingly, or someone was going to get hurt.
