SoulCalibur III (PS2) Our Discord
I go absolutely feral for this specific genre of man, I guess you could call it the Ronin/ Miyamoto Musashi archetype but there are a few outliers.
Broad qualifiers that candidates have to possess some of but certainly not all of include:
*Long hair but not necessarily in a slim neat ponytail. Bonus points if it's like spiky and long.
*Body hair and or facial hair or stubble of some sort.
*Scars or missing limbs or other body parts.
*well defined muscles that are at least the proportions of an athletic build, even better if they're more muscular. The toned arms are an especially effective charm point so to speak 🥴.
Basically I think male samurai characters who aren't outright Bishōnen but more so "traditionally masculine" are incredibly sexy characters 9.5 times out of 10.
(There are obviously more examples I can think of than just the ones shown here but alas Tumblr and it's post image limits. So no I did not forget Zoro from One piece or William from Nioh or Wolf from Sekiro or any of the many many qualifiers from the Samurai Warriors, Sengoku Basara or Onimusha games)

On the 25th of October, twenty years ago, SoulCalibur III was released in North America for the PlayStation 2.
SoulCalibur III continues the weapon-based combat series, featuring an expanded roster of characters, a deep story mode centered on the cursed sword Soul Edge, and the introduction of a character creation system that lets players craft their own warriors for battle.
