Teacher had taken them into town for a trip to the grocery store, but attempting to keep five children who rarely left the facility in a group proved to be a task one man could not accomplish alone. Letty was excited to explore the brightly-colored aisles, spending extra time in the candy aisle to gather sweets into her arms. However, Letty was unable to find Teacher in the large expanse of the grocery store, prompting Rick to soothe her. He promised to find the man and even buy her some sweets, so she could just rest for now. Rick moved to look for Teacher, only to bump into someone in his haste, scattering candy everywhere. “Oh, I’m terribly sorry...”
