Psyche woke up with a strange weight on his chest. When he opened his eyes he say there lied a ball of fluff, purring softly “A kitten?” he rubbed his eyes “But we don’t have a cat? Oh, maybe Izaya-kun finally got me one!?” Happines filled him as he jumped up, making the poor creature roll down to his lap. Surprisingly, it didn’t protest, just stared at him in dossapointment. Then its eyes widened, it hissed and ran away, followed by another cat that was sleeping on the other end of the bed.
The bed… the bed…… The bed!
His eyes widened in suprise - this wasn’t his bed!! This wasn’t his room even if it looked so fammiliar. Yes so familiar, as if it was his own, but… “I’m just half alseep” he sighed and fell back down on the pillow. But he was forced to get up after a couple of minutes “I’ve gotta pee” he annouced and headed to the bathroom. At the door something told him that as an adnroid he didn’t need to pee, but he ignored it and went in.
Inside he found Luka, looking sleepyly at him. “Luka-chan?” he tilted his head to the side and she did the same “What’re you doing here?” she looked just as confused as he did, even said the same thing. he heard her voice… in his head? And a second before he said it too! …But he didn’t hear his own voice, did he?
Psyche furrowed his brows and leaned forward, Luka doing the same. It took him almost a minute to realize he was staring at a mirror.
Luka groaned, rolling over in bed. It was so nice and dark, she was convinced it was still night. No light peeked through the curtains as usual, and she rolled over, surprised to fall off the bed. She wasn't very far off the ground, at least, she wasn't supposed to be, so how did she fall? Sitting up, she felt around for her phone, but instead found a lamp. She didn't have a lamp. Turning the light on, she blinked a few times, trying to register what had happened.
The room was familiar, but it wasn't hers. Luka felt like she had been in it once before. She reached over to play with a strand of hair, and she froze when she felt none. She reached up, running her fingers through her hair. It was so short now..." She got up and raced to the nearest mirror. Pink eyes met her own, rather than her familiar blue eyes.
She let out a shriek, but the sound wasn't her own, it was Psyche's, and she fell backwards. "Ooow...." She heard a voice come from somewhere else in the house, but it didn't register. "W-Wha... Why... W-Why am I Psyche!?" She looked around. She would need to get dressed and get home, to her home.
