River was alone.

Only half an hour earlier, a hand ran along her thigh, ring catching on her flesh and making River moan. Her lips trembled: Missy, wait!; it felt better slow. Missy felt the request telepathically and obliged her request, ceasing her actions only to lean over to River's ear, whispering hotly, breath hissing- "tell me, dearest, am I doing it right? Does he ever make you feel like this?" And River shuddered in acknowledgement of that silent taboo, of his mention, biting her lip as Missy knelt back down, down, down.

And now River was alone, and she was thinking- had he?

thinking abt how shiver/marie would be a type of relationship thats slow and full of quiet love. shiver would love to just lay in maries arms for hours and marie being lowkey like she is would be happy to oblige. they like to slow dance in the rain under maries parasol.

shiver would bring some amount of excitement and chaos in the form of shark related activities but marie just likes the way master mega makes shiver happy.

they like to hold hands behind shivers fan or maries parasol but its always obvious because marie has her silly half grin and shiver is blushing

God now I'm thinking about Shiver and Marie having interactions like

WAIT I FORGOT SOMETHING IN THE LAST ASK SRRY (it's the same anon from before) do you have any HCS about them? How everything happened? I really want to know your thoughts Abt them i am Hooked

I do actually!! I HC that it started out very slowly, Shiver thinking that Marie is very attractive and trying to impress her by looking "cool" (spoilers: kind of like how shiver tries to look cool during her boss battle and accidentally blows herself up w/ the smoke bomb.) And I think after they have a mutual pining thing going on, they would hold hands behind Marie's parasol, and Shiver would hide her blush with her fan. Marie would probably joke around with her over the fact that she didn't recognize her at first, and I don't know ... mostly the parasol thing makes me really giddy to think about because its so cute :3. I think Marie would talk Shivers ear off about the captain, agent 3 and agent 4, and joke about her 'Pedal to the Megalodon' catchphrase. Shiver would open up to Marie about caring deeply for the citizens of Splatsville and everything.

Lastly! I think they would sing softly together sometimes. Marie would be a big fan of Anarchy Rainbow and enjoy hearing Shiver hum it. I'm super open to more HC's about them because it is kind of a random ship but I love it a lot.
