Daddy’s Girl (Chris Motionless Imagine)

Chris’ POV

“Chris! You okay man?” I blink as I realize Vinny said my name. “Huh? Sorry, dude.” “Ya miss em’ huh?” It’s true. I’m missing my ladies like crazy. It’s been six months on tour and being away from them is really getting to me. “Yeah, it’s been rough.” I say as I get up to grab my cell. I need to call (Y/N).

Your POV

Just as I finish putting Eva down for a nap I hear my phone ring in the other room. “Hello?” I ask as I flop on the couch. “Hey there beautiful. I miss you girls like crazy.” I smile as I hear my husbands voice through the phone. “Hi babe! We miss you too, Eva has been asking about you a lot lately. How are things going?” “YO!”- “Sorry, Vinny is being a pain in my ass today. Things are good, everyone is good.” I hear doubt in his voice as he said everyone. “Are you sure about that?” Next thing I know I hear Vinny on the other end. “No, he’s not good, he is going crazy missing you guys. You need to get your ass to our next show or he’ll go into a slump!” I raise an eyebrow. “Hey, Vinny.. Are things really that bad for him?” I didn’t think too much about how not seeing Eva would effect him.. He’s usually so good at letting things like this not get to him. “Yeah. You should come asap. I’ll text you where we’ll be playing.” And with that, Vinny hung up.

“How long are you gone for?” my best friend asks as she plays with Eva on our living room floor. “I don’t know, they didn’t send a return ticket so I guess it’s open. Probably not more than a day or two.” Earlier in the week I got an email from MIWs tour manager sending two first class tickets for both me and Eva to go see Chris at their next destination. “Well, I’m happy to house sit for you while you’re gone, I know this was out of nowhere so I don’t want you to have to worry about the house while you’re gone. Just enjoy being with your family.” “Thank you so much. I can’t believe we leave tonight!” I smile, extremely excited to be with Chris again.

Chris’ POV

As we finish our second last song, I suddenly here the crowd “aww.” I look to my left to see my beautiful baby girl running toward me. I tossed my mic to the floor and opened my arms wide to welcome her. “Hi babygirl! What are you doing here?!” I am so overwhelmed with happiness that tears begin to fall. “SURPRISE!!” I see all the guys and (Y/N) cheering. “Hey hansome!!” (Y/N) Runs at me and we form a group hug around Eva. “God damn it I miss you both so much. How are you here right now?!” I can barely think straight. My girls are here. My family.

Motionless In White Preference: Anxiety Attack

Chris:

Chris would lay in bed with you reciting your favorite quotes from your favorite shows or movies and possibly some songs.

Ryan:

Ryan would ask you for your favorite color, asking you to find a photo to explain it to him perfectly.

Ricky:

Ricky would ask you to help him make some brownies to keep your body busy.

Devin:

Devin would make sure you were taken care of and make sure that you’re drinking plenty of water and taking your moment of rest.

Vinny:

Vinny would be there with you or if he isn’t he’d be on the phone reminding you of ll your proud accomplishments and how much he loves you.

You’re My Daughter (Chris Motionless) (Motionless In White)

Y/N

You’d think being the kid of Chris Motionless would have been the best thing in the whole world, but you were kind of different to your dad and you knew he didn’t like certain elements of your life. You loved Dubstep music and moonlighted as a DJ, but you kept your gothic/emo roots which made you stand out when performing. You were also underage but had your trusty fake ID which fooled most people so you could DJ and no one was the wiser about your age.

It was easier to sneak out when your dad was constantly touring, but when he was home from tour it was a lot harder. Just last week he’d come across one of your fake ID’s and grounded you. But you had more than one ID and nothing was going to stop you from doing your passion. Tonight was a pretty big gig so you were sneaking out again.

Chris

I hated grounding y/n, but she was underage and had a fake ID. She didn’t know that I knew about her little DJ thing, but I hated that she kept breaking my rules. Without her fake ID, she wouldn’t be playing tonight. The rest of the band was over and I hadn’t told them my daughters secret yet.

“Oh my god it’s back on.”

I jump slightly as Ricky jumps up off the sofa.

“What’s on Ricky?”

“Don’t worry Chris it’s not your kind of music, it’s this amazing Goth DJ. The gig was cancelled but she just tweeted that it’s back on.”

I glance towards the stairs, y/n was up in her room sulking. The rest of the band was quite adamant about going. I excuse myself to go and check on my daughter only to discover that her bedroom was empty and her window was open. I was going to kill her when I got my hands on her.

~Club~

I left the guys at the house wanting to confront my rebellious daughter alone. The club was packed as I pushed my way to the front where y/n performed as her Goth alter ego. I didn’t like the music but had to admit that my daughter had talent and could get a crowd going.

y/n notices me and her eyes widen behind the coloured contacts she wore, she knew she was in some serious trouble.

“Sorry, I have to cut the set short guys. Keep on rocking through the night.”

The crowd boo her but quickly understand that she had to leave. y/n comes down from the booth and stands in front of me. I glare at her and point towards the exit, she walks ahead of me in silence.

The car ride back was silent. When I park she gets out and slams the door behind her, two things she got from me was her stubbornness and rage. I follow her into the house where the guys look up at her in shock.

“y/n, you’re the Goth DJ?”

“Surprise Uncle Ricky, but dads a buzz kill.”

y/n gives the guys a little bow in her entire costume before turning to glare at me.

“I’m not a buzz kill y/n. You’re underage and anything could happen to you at those clubs.”

y/n scoffs, “you tour ten months of the year dad and I get away with this every week. You leave me behind, Skyping once every couple of weeks and then it’s only for ten minutes. You don’t know anything about my life; you don’t even know your own daughter anymore.”

y/n’s words her like a slap in the face. I was meant to be the angry one but every word out of her mouth was the truth. I didn’t know my own daughter anymore. She was my flesh and blood yet she felt like a stranger around me, and as a dad that cut deep.

“Do you know why I do what I do dad? I DJ because it’s my passion and makes me happy. You tell your fans to do what makes them happy then shit all over what makes me happy. You hate my music choice but thousands of people support me. I can’t wait until I’m old enough to move out.”

Turning on her heels y/n runs up the stairs with tears in her eyes. I was gobsmacked; I never knew she felt that way about me. Yes, I disapproved of Dubstep music in general, but I really should be able to support my daughter.

Slumping on the sofa between Ricky and Ryan I put my head in my hands.

“She’s right, I’m an awful dad.”

“You’re not awful Chris, just stubborn and stuck in your own ways.”

Ryan pats my back; he was right about me being stuck in my own ways.

“y/n has some serious talent, Chris. She just wants her dad to love and support her.”

Ricky was right I needed to turn things around with my daughter before she hated me for the rest of her life.

Leaving the guys watching TV I head upstairs and knock on y/n’s door before entering. She’d removed the makeup, eye contacts and looked like my little girl again. She sniffles and moves over on her bed allowing me to lie next to her.

“Why can’t you see that this is my passion dad? I grew up watching you perform and making fans happy. I wanted to do the same thing.”

So my daughter looked up to me more than I knew; now I felt even worse.

“I guess my memories of you are still set in the past y/n when I toured less. I missed most of your teen years, but you’ll always be my little girl.”

y/n nods and crawls into my arms resting her head on my chest.

“I’ll always be your little girl dad I’ve just grown up. Do you hate me? I don’t want to stop making music.”

I stroke her hair and sigh.

“You can keep making your music but legally. Or you promise to let either me or one of your uncles escort you to future gigs. I just don’t want to see you get hurt y/n.”

“I love you, dad, sorry for yelling at you.”

y/n had nothing to apologise for. I hug my daughter, from now on I’d be in her life more.

What He Loves About You

A/N Hello! So turns out I have a few old ones I never posted (I tried to space them out and forgot about them) so yay! And bonus it has Josh and Ang in it too! ~Kenzie Ryan: your laugh. Its been said that he has the best laugh in the band, and yours is equally adorable. As soon as he heard you laugh he knew you were perfect for him. He absolutely loves it and will never miss a chance to make you laugh. Josh: your hair. He loved how soft it was and how perfectly it framed your face. It look perfect when you styled it, but he loves it best when it's messy, and especially when you dye it different colors. Devin: your confidence. It's no secret that Devin has a flair for the dramatic, and he loves getting personal on his tumblr. Knowing that you're confident enough to join him in his weird antics and let him post about your sex life, he knew your relationship was built to last. Ricky: Your intelligence. You're a student, and while you're not the top of your class, you love your major and you're constantly studying. He's always walking in to. Find you surrounded by books, some you're reading for fun. He loves helping you study or whenever you think of something you learned in class and tell him about it. He loves how much you care about learning. Vinny: Your taste in music. Being a fan of MIW he didn't expect that you'd also love some of his favorite pop artists, but you did. The two of you would randomly jam out to Ariana Grande in the car, and you were always willing to listen to and help him with his music. The two of you were basically playlist soulmates. Angelo: Your creativity. You never thought you were very good at art, but you still loved creating things. Whether it was making clothes, art, writing, or cooking, you loved to make things. Ang especially loved finding little doodles around the house. They always made him smile, and some even inspired his tattoos. Chris: Your nails. You always have killer nail art, and you do it all yourself. You'll sometimes do each nail different and he's always amazed by the amount of detail you put into each one. People always stop and ask where you got them done, and Chris always tells them it was you, because he loves bragging about you.

Your best friend in the band

Ricky: You and Devin really hit it off the first time you joined them on tour. You’d been getting ready on the bus when he walked by and offered to help you with your contouring. You’d never been the. Best with make-up, so you happily agreed. Your make-up had never looked so on point. After that he started teaching everything from how to do perfect eye make-up to the best lighting for selfies. The two of you have been pretty inseparable ever since. Ryan: You and Chris just sort of clicked as soon as you met. You both had very similar easy-going temperaments. You’d always been a fan of the band, so you loved hearing stories about touring and upcoming songs, and Chris had plenty to talk about. The two of you just idly hung out- until he found out you were a hockey fan. That was when the two of you started getting together for games. Ryan was often tag a long, but usually just to listen to the two of you freak out over your favorite team. Chris: Ricky and you didn’t really set out to be friends, it just sort of happened. Chris and the others would be playing video games or watching hockey, but you weren’t really into it. You’d hang back, read if you had a book with you, or just play on your phone. 90% of the time Ricky was doing the same thing, so the two of you started talking. After a little while you realized you two had a lot in common and started hanging out. Something you’d get coffee and loan books back and forth, other times Chris and Jamie would tag along and make it a double date. Vinny: You’re not sure how you and Ryan started hanging out. He and Vinny were always close, so the three of you hung out often. After a while you’d sometimes find it was just you and Ryan. You talked about everything. The two of you had the same sense of humor and taste in movies. It drove Vinny insane after a while, he kept saying he could only handle one of you at a time, but he loved that you guys got along so well. Devin: You and Vinny bonded over your love of video games. Sure Devin played too, but not the same games and not nearly as often. It started when you made a comment about not having any gamers friends to play with and Vinny was more than happy to help. After that it just snowballed from there. The two of you spent hours playing new Pokemon games and old school Mario, even some GTA and Sims. Devin used to be worried about how much time you spent together, but now he just rolls his eyes and orders you all pizza.

Grocery Shopping

Ricky: “Rick, the freezer is full.” You tried again to shove the box of Hot Pockets into the overflowing freezer to no avail. After another minute of this Ricky came over to open the box, sticking each individual Hot Pocket into the freezer. You finished unpacking the last bag and went back to cooking dinner. You’d started hours ago but you’d run out of pasta and a few ingredients for the sauce, which turned into a full shopping trip. As you reach for the pasta your heart dropped. You frantically scanned the room but the only thing left to be put away was the box of fruit snacks Ricky was currently digging into. “Babe…” you groaned “We forgot the pasta.” Ricky froze. “Shit… well what else can we eat?” “Wha- No! I’ve already started the sauce and the chicken, if we don’t do pasta it’ll go to waste!” Ricky’s hand goes to his forehead, already dreading your answer. “So… we go back to the store?” You nodded solemnly “It’s the only way.” Your boyfriend takes a deep breath before pulling out his keys and heading towards the door, “Fine, but we’re also buying a notepad for the kitchen because I swear to god we’re never shopping without a list again!” Chris: You winced as your boyfriend pulled you into the store. “But I don’t want toooo.” You hated Wal-Mart. The only time the two of you ever shopped there was was when you really needed something and everywhere else was closed. This was one of those times. “Babe, our fridge has two diet cokes and some ketchup. It’s either this or we don’t eat.” Sadly, this was true. Chris had just gotten back from tour and you’d been working all week, so your kitchen was baron. Chris loaded up the cart as you whined up and down the isles. “We could just get take out.” He snorted “Y/N I saw like 14 pizza boxes back there- you built a fort around the kitchen trash.” This was true, but it hardly seemed like an issue. “I’d rather live on pizza then stay in Wal-Mart for another minute.” Chris turned and smiled devilishly back at you. “Fine.” He said stepping back. “If you can get this and put it in the cart, we’ll call it good and go home.” He gestured to the same goddamn cereal you’d been reaching for when you first met- which was still on the top of the goddamn shelf. You looked your boyfriend dead in the eyes. “I hate you.” Chris just laughed as he grabbed your cereal from the shelf. “Next we need pasta.” Ryan: “The store brand is a better deal as long as it tastes the same. Not even the same, it just has to taste good.” “Yup.” “But the store brand also has more calories and fat content, I mean neither of us are trying to lose weight but we should still eat healthy.” “Yup.” “Ryan,” You cried, swatting his shoulder with one of the boxes of mac n’ cheese you were holding, “you’re not being helpful!” Ryan tilts his head up, the rest of him still slumped over the cart’s handle bar. “I’m sorry.” “Don’t be sorry, be helpful!” Ryan straightens up and pulls you closer “Babe,” he mutters as he plants a kiss on your forehead, “It doesn’t matter what brand mac n’ cheese we buy, just pick one.” You lightly swat at his chest, “Ry, that’s why you’re here! You know how indecisive I am, you’re supposed to help!” Ryan rolls his eyes and blindly takes one of the boxes from you and chucks it into the cart. “There, decided.” You smile up at him, “See this is why I need you.” Vinny: “Ok,” you mumble checking things off your list, “next we need bread.” “And ice cream.” Vinny adds, “Oh and chips! I ran out yesterday.” “I thought we were going to start eating healthy. Remember we talked about broccoli?” “I can’t eat broccoli while gaming. I need snacks. Popcorn, Fruit by the Foot, Tostinos, Chips Ahoy, stuff you only need one hand to eat. And that actually tastes good.” You sigh looking down at your cart. It was filled with raw meats, vegetables, and any other fresh ingredients you could need for some great meals. However those meals would take hours of prep, and as delicious as they would be it would probably be just as satisfying to stick to corn dogs and pizza rolls. “Fuck it.” You’d given in. It’s probably cheaper this way anyway. “Alright new plan: I’m gonna put this crap back, you get another cart for the good stuff.” Vinny cheered as he ran off, and you crumpled your list, finally looking forward to your easy frozen dinner tonight. Devin: “C’mon slow-poke,” you called as you started to skate away on the cart “Let’s get my Oreos and get out!” “That’s not even what we’re here for!” Your boyfriend ran up behind you and grabbed hold of the cart just in time to stop you from crashing into a display. It was 3am and insomnia had taken hold of you for the 4th night this week. Devin, once again woken up by your antics, decided it was time for the big guns. He steered you over to the pharmacy section and started loading the cart with melatonin, valerian root, Tylenol PM, and anything else that so much as had drowsiness as a side effect. You rocked back and forth on your heels as Devin compared two bottles. “You know what’d be great right now? Mountain Dew.” “Fuck. No. That’s the complete opposite of what we’re trying to accomplish here.” You groan and stomp your foot, exhaustion quickly bringing out your childish side.“Come on Dev, I’m bored, do you want me to be bored?” “I want you to be tired.” You sigh and let your eyes wander around the pharmacy. “Hey Dev, you know what’d make me really tired?” You coo. Devin looks up to see you tilting your head toward the condom rack. He can’t help but smirk. “Toss ‘em in the cart.”

How he helps you through Anxiety attacks

Chris

He usually finds you rolled up in a ball in a corner of your apartment. He knows you don’t like to be crowded in times like this so he sits down beside you and waits for you to cuddle into him. He will hum your favourite song while rubbing your back. Eventually you two end up on the couch watching The Office. 

Devin

You always find enough courage to call him before things get too bad. Once he knows he will go to the store and buy you a huge stuffed animal and rushes home to you. He instantly turns your favourite show on to play softy in the background when he finds you. He does everything he can to make you feel as safe as possible, picking you up in his arms. 

Ricky

Ricky knows you like the back of his hand. He can sense when you’re feeling off almost immediately. He brings you something to keep your hands busy (like a fidget cube) while he grabs you some blankets and plays his guitar to help calm your nerves. 

Ryan 

Ryan always takes you to a park, or somewhere peaceful with lots to look at. He’ll take your hand and go on walks with you; knowing that he outdoors is calming to you. Once you’re doing a bit better you usually have a picnic. He  keeps you close to him, making sure you have everything you need. 

Vinny

He is a huge goofball. He will do everything in his power to distract you with jokes, a tickle fight or even something as crazy as asking you to bake a cake together just to have a food fight afterwards. In the end all your anxiety has gone and you’re just a laughing mess on the floor.

Studying

A/N: I finally finished something! Sorry it took so long. I tired to make them generic but I'm a psych major and it's all I know. Enjoy! ~Kenzie Ricky: “Whatcha reading?” Your boyfriend asks from over your shoulder. You had been at your desk slumped over your textbook for hours now and every word read was forgotten immediately. “Abnormal Psychology.” “Really? That sounds kinda cool.” You dropped your head with an audible thud. “It was interesting. 4 hours ago.” “So stop for the night.” “I can’t,” you mumbled, face still pressed against the book, “my test is tomorrow and he pulls his questions straight from the book.” You laid there deflated for a few more seconds before the book was pulled out from under you. Ricky pulled up a chair beside you and set the book in his lap. “What are you doing?” You asked. He smirked, “Reading to you. It sounds cooler than you give it credit for, and clearly you’re getting nowhere on your own, so.” Thanks to Ricky you ended up acing your test the next day. Ryan: “Ok… what is one difference in diagnosing depression in children vs adults?” “Children can be irritable instead of sad.” Ryan flipped the card over, “Correct.” Yes. You knew this information inside and out. You were ready, but you couldn’t stop. You wanted a B in this class and you were going to study until the tests were handed out. “How many symptoms are needed to diagnose ADHD?” “6 for children, 5 if they’re over 18.” “Correct. Babe can you stop pacing it’s freaking me out.” “It helps me think.” “Yeah but, I’m pretty sure you don’t need to think. Like you could probably answer these in your sleep.” He grabbed your hand as you walked by, pulling you close. “Take a break Y/N.” You smiled down at your loving boyfriend. “One more time through the stack, then we’ll talk.” Ryan rolled his eyes knowing you were never going to give up. “Alright,” he sighed picking up the stack of 275 flash cards, “Name 3 criteria for bipolar I disorder.” Vinny: It was 1:37am the Sunday- or Monday now, before your first final. You’d been studying for hours and you were barely halfway through. Vinny could see you starting to fade so he suggested a coffee run. The Starbucks near your house was closed so the two of you were driving in circles trying to find caffeine. “There’s a gas station down the street. They’ll probably have something.” You didn’t answer, still engrossed in your study guide. “Y/N… Y/N...” Suddenly he snatched the guide out of your hands. “Hey!” “Babe this is supposed to be a break, you weren’t supposed to bring it with you.” “But I need to study!” You whined as he pulled into a parking spot. “I know,” he cooed taking your face in his hands, “but first, coffee.” You rolled your eyes as you climbed out of the car. "But gas station coffee, really?" "Hey you didn't object!” Devin: “Jesus Christ how many slides are on this thing?!” You smacked his arm trying to silence your boyfriend as you kept reading. “60.” “60?! What could possibly be in this chapter that it needs 60 slides to cover it all?!” “Devin shut up I’m trying to study.” “Do you really need to read all 60 slides though? I mean shouldn’t there be like a study guide or something instead of just posting his presentations?” “Nope. Professors are satanists that like to watch us suffer.” Devin chuckled as you stared deadpan into the screen. “It should at least have cool transitions or som-” “DEVIN, OUT!” You cried, smacking him with a pillow until he leapt off the couch. “You’re distracting me! Be helpful or get out!” Devin pouted in protest but you went immediately back to your power points. “Fiiine,” he huffed walking towards the bedroom, “Wake me when you’re done with your 60 slides.” Chris: You stared into the computer screen, rapidly clicking the refresh button. Nope. Nope. Nada. Still nothing. You weren’t sure exactly when Chris had come over but he was holding your hand tightly, shifting his attention between you and the ever-refreshing screen. “It’s gonna be fine Y/N. You studied so hard, and you already know what you have in most of your classes.” “Yeah but I need at least a 3.5 this semester or I can kiss grad school goodbye. Then I’ll have a useless degree and be forced to work at McDonalds where one day I’ll get so fed up with a customer that I kill them and have to go on the run and live under a bridge like a crazy homeless person.” Chris couldn’t help but smile as you frantically refreshed the page. You still had two minutes before grades would be posted, but that didn’t stop you from checking 8 minutes ago and he knew it wouldn’t stop you now. Finally the page changed, and the two of you held your breath as you added up your GPA. “3.6… 3.6!! FUCK YES!” You shrieked as Chris lifted you out of the chair into a hug. “I’m so proud of you babe! C’mon let’s go celebrate! You earned it!” “Ok, anywhere but McDonalds.”
