This is actually one of the best Steddie fics I've ever read, it should be so much higher in hits. Steve is so heartbreaking in this, just truly losing himself in a life he never wanted to live. The author does an amazing job talking about the drugs and the assault that Steve deals with without romanticizing it or ever making what Steve went through his fault. I really enjoyed the journey Eddie went on in this too. I do wish we'd spent a little more time on his realizations that what he was doing was hurting people. That his ripping into people for entertainment was probably a little too similar to what Tommy was doing and that pushing Eddie into changing. But he does come to his realizations and he does grow and become a better person. This is very much so Steve's journey and story just told from Eddie's perspective, and it works out really well. Overall I just really loved this fic and getting to see Steve get a better life and a support network and love. Stayed up till 3 am reading this. 9/10
