This Stir-fried Golden Mushroom with Butter Sauce (Enoki Shitake Batayaki) is buttery good. The only minus point is that the enoki tended to get stuck between the teeth. Big “sis” (my older colleague at work) wanted some greens so we got her the Pan-Fried Mixed Vegetable (Yasai Itame) topped with dancing bonito flakes.
The Japanese Fried Chicken Wings (Spicy Tebasaki) with its crunchy batter shell and succulent juicy meat was worth an additional helping. Although it was supposed to be spicy, there was barely if any heat to it.
