Chester is a gorgeous, loveable, big-eyed, #35lbs #mixedcoon prince who is a huge #ballofcuddles who often takes half or the whole love sofa. Had to trim him down a couple weeks ago because he keeps getting matted fur from being too fat. His black fur is the longest I've ever seen on a cat! Remember that vacuum commercial where the cat sat on the carpeted stairs and sneezed? And fur comes flying out everywhere? Yeah, that's the same with Chester. It's a constant battle between his fur, claws and teeth trying to get the knots out. I've tried to be gentle brushing, but it's too sensitive for him. When @apellerin and I first got Chester, we quickly discovered he has pica for plastics and he is obsessed with food. No matter how much we tried different ways of feeding him or limiting his meal times, it wouldn't work. If he gets hungry, he goes into that hunting mode, starts harassing and fighting with Sparkie and BearClaw. Sigh.. As soon as this COVID-19 crisis is over, we're gonna take him to the vet.
