I specifically like the collapsible beskad for Jango because it would fuck with people's expectations so much, they would see an empty hilt and be expecting a lightsaber to come out and instead it's a fucking metal sword

Yes this is also true!! Goran Vol would absolutely forge/built it to look similar to (not exactly like) the Darksaber hilt (since the Darksaber allegedly is shaped like a beskad anyways!), which will poke fun at Jango (since he does not want the Darksaber dammit) and mess with other people! 😂
