if anyone is unfamiliar, miyazawa’s poem ame ni mo makezu is where horikoshi got the inspiration for deku’s name. the poem speaks of a man who is humble and happy to help others without any expectations of accolades. deku once told kacchan that he channels his confidence and ferocity in battle, and now we see that bakugou has started to channel izuku as well - the muttering, the strategizing, and ultimately, the self sacrificing.

so yukine and you keep your relationship private, as is your wish. yukine doesn't really mind, as she isn't the type to brag about her relationship anyways

most of the time, yukine and you hang out at the rec room together, spending your breaks during school there or even being together after classes

occasionally, some of yukine's friends show up at the rec room, always causing you to quickly pull away from her and act far more distant than you two actually are

though on one particular day, yukine and you don't notice her friends by the window and you lean in for a kiss, not realizing the two of you have an audience

yukine is the first one to notice them, softly giggling, as she taps your arm and points outside the window, whispering “i think they noticed…”

you're prepared to have them yell at you or threaten you, but as her friends slip through the window, they quickly gather around you, just to get to know you!

after all, if you get along well with yukine, why can't they get along with you too? she's surrounded by good people at all times, so they trust her that she picked a good partner for herself!

though if you ever were to hurt her, they might change their attitude towards you…
