❝ "Sweetheart, what did you bury in the garden?" ❞
"Did I fall asleep?"
Send one to see how my muse reacts.
Sunhee’s sight moved away from her cellphone’s screen when she heard the low, kind of raspy voice from the other girl due to the sleepiness. For a moment she stood silent, as if showing an annoyed attitude, but quickly she broke into a small laughter, nodding her head in response to the other girl’s question. Sunhee was way too into the movie to even notice that the couch had become Miyuki’s bed, not even an hour into the movie. When she actually saw her deeply asleep, she lowered the volume of the TV and took her phone to play a game while waiting for the other to wake up. Only iff that happened, because she wasn’t planning on waking her up and watching a movie alone wasn’t that fun.
❝ Yeah, you did fall asleep, my friend. ❞
She spoke on a perfect Japanese to her really confused friend. Miyuki was the only one who could understand her, so whenever they were together she would take that time to comfortably speak the language she hadn’t spoken for a long while. Miyuki was Japanese and well, Sunhee lived in Osaka for a longer time than in her own native country, which was rather sad though, but the circumstances were hard. Sunhee then dropped her phone on her lap, as she folded her legs over the couch and laughed once again because of how blank the other woman was looking.
❝ Don’t worry, you didn’t sleep for that long and I stopped the movie. ❞
