Ok, I have to tell this story before I forget it. I had a crazy vivid dream of going to this dingy mall that was hiding in plain sight, and as me and a friend were walking around we found that they had a Chuck E Cheese's inside! I rushed up to the front and saw that they had the old Chuck themed merry-go-round, plus two different small piano playing Chucks- kinda like the small quarter operated rides. On the other side of the restaurant, they had old Chuck animatronic by the indoor jungle gym!

I can't remember the other two 'bots that were there, but they looked and felt like the portrait bots with full bodies. It was weird, and the whole time I was thinking 'I cannot WAIT to tell animatronic appreciation about this hidden gem!'- and, of course, I was very disappointed when I woke up.

Wow! Man, that sounds awesome. I had a really vivid CEC/PTT dream once, too. I dreamt the portrait Jasper bot and the balcony Chuck bot were in this little ice cream parlor in the basement of a mall, and it was a one of a kind stage called the Ragtime Stage. I woke up dazed and not sure if it was a dream or not. :(

Just finished reading your write-up of Zootopia's production history. Really good read, and great to see proper citations in material like this.

Thanks. I would have preferred to do “proper” journal-style citations, but people keep telling me those come off as stuffy and offputting online. Still want to make my sources clear whenever I can though.

This is the first time I’ve ever had to do this with any artist, and you know what.. it feels crappy. I’d put it directly on artist-beware if I knew more about their art profiles and such, but as it was directly a tumblr dealing, I guess I’m going to put it here.

I paid them $70.00 for a bori plush commission on Jun 10, 2015.

Despite contacting them several times through the last year, they never provided me with any updates. Fronting with mentions of not having the supplies yet, moving, and just flat out being too busy.

A month ago, I contacted them again, and we agreed that a refund should be issued as they were not going to complete the piece, and still have not received either my money or any attempted contact to let me know what is going on.
