I don’t really play Neopets much anymore, but I got an urge to enter the art gallery for next week lol

This is the first time I’ve ever had to do this with any artist, and you know what.. it feels crappy. I’d put it directly on artist-beware if I knew more about their art profiles and such, but as it was directly a tumblr dealing, I guess I’m going to put it here.

I paid them $70.00 for a bori plush commission on Jun 10, 2015.

Despite contacting them several times through the last year, they never provided me with any updates. Fronting with mentions of not having the supplies yet, moving, and just flat out being too busy.

A month ago, I contacted them again, and we agreed that a refund should be issued as they were not going to complete the piece, and still have not received either my money or any attempted contact to let me know what is going on.

So - I recently got into my oldest neopets account again after like being unable to access it forever. I have some things in the safety deposit box that are semi-valuable. I mean nothing big, but I won’t ever really use the account again. Is it “safe” to just transfer that stuff over to my main account? Just a couple petpets, paintbrushes, and codestones. I’m concerned about getting flagged because when I used to use that account, I lived in a different house so I know any IP history won’t match up.

Okay is it just me or are the adds on neopets taking over? Something is always playing, or redirecting me and i have to wait like 30 seconds to get back to what I was doing. This has been happening to me so freqently that it is annoying the shit out of me ..

Google Chrome alerted me of a redirecting ad containing malware, like… this is ridiculous. I know JS has no control over the ads but this is getting to be a nuisance. I reported it in a ticket and the ticket is still open.

That’s not true. Neopets uses adsense (googleads) for their site, and they can choose what ads are allowed and if they’re capable of redirecting or not. You should definitely report it. :> But I still recommend adblock over everything.

Yeah I mean either way i’m going to look into adblocking, is there a certain way I go about doing that?

If you’re using google chrome, the link for adblock is here:  adblock I'm not sure exactly how to install it for any other browers, but i am 98% positive it's compatible with all browsers if you just google 'adblock -your browser name here-'

Hey all I’d like to share this really helpful plug-in with all of you that I saw posted on reddit. It helps remind you when to do your dailies with a handy little add-on to your nav bar.

For Firefox users:

Download and install the Greasemonkey add-on

Install the userscript

For Chrome users:

Download and install the Tampermonkey extension

Install, be sure to install using TamperMonkey as Chrome doesn’t natively support some features that the script requires

For Opera users :

Go to the Opera menu > Settings > Preferences

Navigate to Advanced > Content

Press the “JavaScript Options…” button

Select a “User JavaScript folder”

Download the script to that folder (Right click “Install,” select “Save Linked Content As…”)

And you’re done! The script is MIT-licensed so feel free to dig into the code if you’d like.

I just realized they posted ruki day images in the art gallery, but there was no mention of Ruki day in the news. I don’t own a ruki anymore, but I’m still disappointed because they’re my favourite species... Maybe I should be glad they didn’t get any new art... lmao.

Here’s the non-crappy version of my art gallery entry. I still can’t believe the file size limit for AG, I had to resize this down to 200x300 to even enter it. eugh.  D;

I did get in though! Got an eventide petpet pb and a pink silk fan. :P
