i’m doing research to see if they’re scored separately and then averaged together or if it’s just one big score, because if it’s the former, if i score high enough on the analytical and the verbal i should still be fit for a creative writing program, i’d think ????

Why I got into the series.

-My cousin recommended it to me, and I actually watched it with her. 

What kept me into the series.

-What can I say? Shit started getting good. And interesting.

If I intended to, or at some point dropped it.

-I actually watched the first episode with my cousin, then it was a little while before I picked up the series again. I started back with episode 1, and then I marathoned it from there.

Who was my first fave character?  Has it changed over time?

-It was definitely Firo Prochainezo at first. I still like him a lot now, but since a certain former conductor showed up, well....

The same thing, but for a least fave character?

-Ugh, Szilard. Also Fermet. AND SENATOR BARRIUM, GOD. AUGH.

Fave female character:

-Nice man, just Nice Holystone. I also really really like Rachel a lot too.

Fave male character:

-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Claire motherfucking Stanfield. THAT IS ALL. Okay, also Graham Spector, DAMN. A-AND JACUZZI SPLOT. WOW.

Did I like the music in it?

-YES. The series takes place in 1930s USA. AWESOME JAZZ OST IS INVOLVED. BEAUTIFUL.

What was my fave plot point?  Were there any points that confused me or I feel haven’t been wrapped up yet?

-HAHAHA HOW ABOUT THE FACT THAT THE YOUNG CONDUCTOR WHO GETS KILLED IN EPISODE TWO IS A) NOT DEAD, AND B) HE’S THE MOTHERFUCKING RAIL TRACER BITCHES.

Least fave plot points?

-Ummmm probably the whole shit with Senator Barrium WHAT A FUCKING DOUCHEBAG. Oh and also probably Huey taking Chane’s voice away WILLINGLY. WHAT KIND OF A FATHER WOULD DO THAT TO THEIR OWN DAUGHTER? Just no.

Fave story arc(s)?:

-Two words. FLYING PUSSYFOOT.

Fave scene.  Least fave scene.

-Okay I really like the bit in episode.... 12 maybe? But it’s where Isaac and Miria are trying to save Chez and they almost get blown away from the train when Rachel saves them by catching the rope the three of them are holding onto. And this is after Rachel’s been shot in the leg, and she’s struggling with that and accidentally lets go of the rope, so Isaac, Miria and Chez get sent flying. UNTIL CLAIRE MOTHERFUCKING STANFIELD COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND CATCHES THE ROPE AND SAVES THEM. AND SHOWS OFF WITH HIS AWESOME CIRCUS FLIPS AND SHIT. OH. And here are some other little gems: “I’VE GOT A GUN- IN MY HEART!” and.... "I hope he's tall, and handsome, and just a little bit fat, and absolutely sure that he'll never be killed! 'Cause then there's me! I'LL TAPDANCE ALL OVER HIS FACE, LIKE I'M GODDAMN BOJANGLES!" also... "Your ticket, please!" and ANOTHER... "Tedium is such a crime. It takes the limited amount of time that is given to man, and rather than spending it in indolence or drowning it in pleasure it just sits there sucking, eating it up. I can't put up with that, tedium is a crime! Death to tedium! Die!" WOW. Oh and least favorite? Hmmm... eh probably the bit in episode 10 with Senator Barrium visiting Huey in prison. Yeah...

Would I/Have I rewatched the series?

-Dude, I have rewatched Baccano! SO MANY TIMES you have no fucking idea.

-Ummm.... It was probably Celty actually. She’s still one of my favorites to this day.

-Oh, ummm... Probably Harada from Season One. Also Aoba’s a little shit if you ask me. Interesting, but a little shit.

Fave female character:

-CELTY. FULLSTOP. I also do like Erika a lot too. And Anri’s pretty cool.

Fave male character:

-SHIZUO HEIWAJIMA BITCHES. I also REALLY really like Kadota.

-Yeah it’s pretty good. Not my all-time favorite ost, but it’s still good!

-Mikado being the founder of the Dollars.

-Uhhh I can’t really think of any right now.

-Episodes 10-12. All of that is pretty damn awesome.

-Episode 3. “OH I’M NOT MAD. I JUST WANT TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU.” BEAUTIFUL. Also the bit in episode 10 when Saburo goes on a driving rampage because some random-ass guy kicked up a rock into his van OMFG. “RED LIGHT RED LIGHT RED LIGHT.”

Would I/Have I rewatched the series?

-Oh yeah, I’ve rewatched it a few times, more often than not I’ll rewatch certain episodes.

Taylor: Dude plays the harp incredibly well, and played in Carnegie Hall as part of a music abroad program in his early high school days.

Ryan Asher; 122 confirmed kills, youngest Ace in OMDF history. Also a really good cook. (I’ll make another post about that one later.)
