i cut my hair the same way i had it when we first spoke. i tried to wear red, the lipstick color you loved, the dress that showed off my chest and neck, dressing to warm myself from the outside in. no matter what i couldn't enjoy the color on me. i kept moving towards shades of green and blue that were far too close to black. cooler and cooler, like i was being remade within the depths of the ocean. and thats the problem isn't it love, no matter what i do to look the part, we will never be sixteen and too far apart. i've made a home out of my water grave, there's no going back.
