❝ I left a few pages blank, you know, for future traps. ❞
"BJ, have I reminded you lately that you're the best?" Caleb asked, grabbing his tiny ex-girlfriend around the waist and spinning her around in unnecessarily vigorous circles. She wasn't the biggest fan of touch, even now, but she was tolerant enough of it coming from him. Or at least, he hoped so; he gently put her back down where he'd found her before she could start biting or kicking him. She was feisty enough to do plenty of damage to him without even needing a single trap. Sheepishly, he took a step back out of her personal space bubble and settled back down on the couch, then raised his glass to her in a toast. "To my favorite genius - who I'm sure will find a way to include a shark trap on one of those pages, right??"
