THE RETURN OF MEPHEDRONE (4-MMC) This one is pretty short acting, and is sometimes considered to pitch somewhere between cocaine and ecstasy. There are a lot of variables in this determination, but broadly speaking it isn't massively off the mark.
In addition to the above, it has also been known by a variety other names, including bubbles, mkat, meow-meow and plant food.
It was an extremely popular drug during the legal high years, but it largely disappeared when it was scheduled. However, recently, possibly linked to the increased market cost of cocaine, it seems to have made something of a comeback, which is the reason I am making this second post about it (with a different photo).
As expected given the above intro, it is both stimulating and empathogenic. One of its most significant features is also that it is prone to compulsive redosing: it can be hard to stop once you start, and I found myself snorting through far too much of this during its first wave. Addiction can also be a problem, so it isn't one with which to engage too frequently.

Don’t forget the VERONICA MARS canon didn’t stop with the movie! 📚 Buy the official novels, “The Thousand Dollar Tan Line” and “Mr. Kiss & Tell”, wherever books are sold. (Kristen Bell even read the audio book for TTDTL.)
Read quick and you can join us in the Discord to discuss the final chapters of MKAT in our book club! 😘
Rob Thomas has confirmed Season 4 takes place after the novels and is a new story despite some thematic similarities. 🏖
Why is Logan’s nickname “Mouth” on the books? I thought about two different scenarios but I’m not sure which one is right lol
Hi Anny! Sorry for not getting to this sooner - I was out of town.
Although we do not get the full story about why Logan has the call sign "Mouth", the assumption is that his tendancy to "mouth" off to people (in this case, probably his superiors) is why he was given this nickname. In the Navy, a pilot's call sign is given to him by others based on personality traits (or sometimes just to mess with the person) so it would be no surprise that the man known for his snark would be given the handle "Mouth".
I mean, he could have got it other ways...say by winning a competition to see how many marshmallows he could stuff in his mouth at one time...but I think the general assumption is because of his attitude. lol
Here is the passage from the book about it (thanks to @allthevmff for helping me find the quote when my tired eyes couldn't see it while skimming....)
Remember when Logan admitted to playing D&D with his shipmates? He was a Bard and spent most of the time making up dirty limericks.
I’d pay to see that flashback.

Well, this Pony is certainly a horse of a different color. 🖤
And gender. ♀♂
But a gorgeous dog nonetheless. 🐶
I’m… torn…

“TTDTL would be the equivalent of Season 2 of VM and MK&T would be Season 3.”
