Paul und Flake - the two weirdos
Steinbrücken, 1989 Frank Döhring: It was Sunday morning, all night long on the campsite, drums could be heard from the direction of the stage. Constant drumming. Sleeping was out of question. Only the snoring of the tent-neighbor was louder /.../.
Still the drumming got to our nerves. “Did you hear that?”, I asked others in the morning. “Of course, how could you not?”; “Sophie also could not sleep whole night and fell asleep only now.”
“It was Paul and Flake - those two weirdos” our camp-neighbor knew. “They had their fun and now they are snoring under the stage”, the neighbor laughed.
Jay constantly roping in all the rest of Nadakhan’s crew into sea shanties
Yes
Nadakhan’s just so confused about it but it keeps them cheerful and apparently cheerful workers means more work gets done?? So??? Just keep going ig??
They sung a lot more back when Libber joined them, because she was always so energetic and coming up with the best songs when she was feeling like herself. When she got banished into the Cursed Realm, after Jay was born she sung them to him, and taught him the lines and music when he was older.
There were an awful lot of ghost pirates in the Cursed Realm, too, Captain Soto and his crew were there for a while before getting dragged into Ninjago. They all taught Jay lots of them since Libber seemed to be conditioning him to be a pirate.
Finished MI last night, and had a minor breakdown at the end. @lolo-deli warned me not get my hopes up and not to get attached but that didn't stop me from spamming "wtf" for like, ten minutes while she laughed at me.
But I loved it tbh. The actual plot bored me, but the characters were all so fantastic. Hands down one of the best dizi couples tbh, just in terms of communication and understanding. Divorced but still close, working through both of their issues, being there for their son, having honest and open talks, and also being surrounded by supportive family. MKC's son was adorable "Junior MKC" and it's honestly one I'd highly recommend for the relationships. You can entirely skip the actual police plot and miss nothing, but MKC and his family and friends are fantastic. I loved every minute of them and I'm sad it was over. I wasn't supposed to get attached and yet--
