People who have inspired me, or 2. Things that have inspired me. I will be talking about the second one. I take inspirations for a lot of my projects from anime, movies, and books. My surroundings is also a great source of inspiration for different color combinations. Anything and everything, really, can be one. I get excited whenever I see, even just a glimpse, of yarn-related crafts in shows I'm watching. I'd either (try to) recreate it or use it as my basis for another project (e.g., the pictures above).

[2.19.2018] The January Projects: The Month of the Beanies ❤❤❤ . . This is part of my #100crochetprojects2018, where I strive to design 100 Original Crochet Projects in 2018. “Original” in this means writing my own patterns. 😄 . . This is inspired by @morthunder’s 100 Beanies in 100 Days Project and the more general 100 Days Project. As I don’t think I can manage to do what she did, and that 100 days is too limited for what I had in mind, I made mine more open. This gives me the freedom to make different projects in more days (365, yay!). 😎 . . I find enjoyment in mixing different stitches to make something different, but I still love simple designs. I love experimenting with basic designs and seeing what it’ll look like with, say, working in back loops instead of the normal top loops. I usually have 2-4 versions of the same basic design. 😉❤ . . 1.11.2018 *insert hermione quote here*📚📖🐱 . I almost forgot to post a full body picture of Hermione. The pattern is by @shinygurumi. I love love love her creations. She just released her pattern for Dobby, and he’s so adorable! 😍 . I’m waiting for the rest of the gang to be released before Hermione gets lonely. She misses her boys, you know. But, first, a little peace and quiet for reading.

1.7.2018 (5/5) The last of the Christmas gifts! I wasn’t able to make much because I ran out of time. I really should start early. Like, in July, maybe? 😆 . Anyway, this book pouch is for a cousin of mine who loves reading books as much as I do. I’ve always wanted some kind of bag to protect my book from taking damage, especially when I’m carrying it in my bag. . This is an original pattern. I’m still tweaking it. See if I’d like it more with SC, or I’d just line the inside. I’m leaning on the latter. 😄

1.6.2018 (4/5) This colorful cowl was the one that I gave my mom. She loves clothes, fashion, and colorful things. Yay for colors! 😄😍 . This is also the pattern that I tested for @bonnie.stitchcraft last November. I have never tried the extended DC before, but I love how The Janeway Cowl came out. It could be customized to be as long/short or wide/narrow as you want. . You should check out her other works, too. They’re all so lovely. ❤

1.5.2018 “Who am I? I’m just an average guy who serves as an average hero.” - Saitama, One Punch Man . (3/5) My brother loves watching, and urging people (read:me, not that I need it) to watch, anime (I think he caught up with One Piece and anyone who is familiar with the show knows how many episodes it has), and One Punch Man is one such anime. . I have watched the show myself last 2016 and loved it. It has this mix of light fun with a dab of serious here & there that I like. We are waiting for season 2 to start airing. . 1.4. 2018 (2/4) Christmas gifts to both of my grandmothers (paternal and maternal). I made them market bags to use because they love visiting fresh-produced markets. I hope that this will help them carry their burden. .
