I'm sorry if i'm being annoying by asking this but i'm kinda new to this fandom and i saw another version of the miraculous ladybug,an anime. Is the anime version still going to be released when the 3D ends or there is no chance of seeing that?
Salut, new Miraculer! I can explain this easily. You are referring to this, right?
So, in 2012, Toei worked with ZAG Animation, and what was created was the Miraculous Ladybug PV. This version had Félix and the Marinette that the fans love calling “Bridgette.” In this version, the Miraculouses were stuck to the kids, and Hawk Moth was known as “Butterfly.” Even though his name literally translates to that from French, they called him “Butterfly” and not “Papillon.” It is much darker than the 3D CGI show and was intended for teenagers. There is no chance of ever seeing this come to light; the creator, Thomas Astruc, hated Félix. Paraphrasing Astruc, “Félix was not a believable character.” The dynamic of Félix as Chat Noir and Bridgette as Ladybug was difficult to write. (For more on Félix, click here and here.)
That doesn’t mean that there won’t be an anime version of Miraculous Ladybug. Recently, Jeremy Zag announced that Toei was working with ZAG animation again to make a Japanese OVA. This version will use Adrien Agreste and Marinette Dupain-Cheng. This is all we know about it.
