How did you get the idea for Wings Of Deception?

Timetagger.

It describes a future where The cast are adults, (about mid twenties based on Future Alix.) And still have Miraculous and a new Hawkmoth heavily implied to by Lila.

I thought it would be fun to do that as a spinoff.

Wings Question: What was the inspiration for Dustin's character?

PV Felix of all things.

I wanted to do a take on a loner jerk with a heart of gold while keeping him likeable and not toxic or unhealthy.

Are you inspired by things from your real life to write? (romantic relationship, character flaws, everyday life situations?)

A lot of the time yeah.

Dustin isn't a self insert, but I did base his sister on my former step sister.

Racist, oblivious, stupid, often with 0 self awareness.

Although my girlfriend says the relationship between Dustin and Kagami reminds her of us. Which I'm flattered by honestly.

Question about wings: who is the hardest character to write about? What is your secret to make the characters so authentics and not falling into the Off-character?

Probably Mylene and Ivan. They have so little presence in the show. It's not much to work with.

I rewatch scenes related to the character I'm writing about.

For example, in seeds of the future I needed Luka angry, so I rewatched Silencer to remind me what that's like.
