I have too many random thoughts stuck in my drafts list, so I’m just gonna throw this one out there before it becomes totally irrelevant.

In ‘Elation’, Alya initially tells Marinette she’s going after the wrong boy (Cat instead of Adrien). Then Andre tells both Marinette and Cat that they’re with the wrong people.

These kids just need to be able to make their own decisions, already!!

Sorry but to me Marichat never made sense and I feel like this episode tried to show that… that it can’t work.. like i never got the hype…

No, but imagine being Alya post-Elation. Just when you accept the fact that your best friend has fallen in love with a superhero she's secretly a partner with you find out that your best friend actually kissed said superhero TWICE. And that Chat Noir who, to your knowledge, only had very few interactions with your friend, loves your best friend back. I'm just saying Alya deserves an award for dealing with all of that.
