yoonkook at pride !
in which yoongis favorite song was playing, and he saw a boy about his age, standing all alone.
yoongi would be super outgoing and bubbly
jeongguk would more than likely stay back, trying his best to make himself practically invisible, but yet still trying to enjoy himself
after the parade, there'd be a big dance circle because someone decided it would be a good idea to play music and have people dance in the middle of the street
jeongguk would still be on the sidelines, but still having fun until yoongi leaves the circle to get water and sees jeongguk sitting all alone, but looking like he wanted to participate
"hey kid, wanna dance?" yoongi asked, grabbing his water bottle out of his bag.
"n- no thanks." jeongguk responded, shyly. wondering why this person hadn't asked him before.
"you sure? it's a lot of fun out there."
"i'll try, i guess..."
"cool!" yoongi grabbed jeongguks hand, and led him into the dance circle. yoongis favorite song came on, and he just couldn't resist dancing to it in the middle, but jeongguk beat him to it. he was in the middle, dancing his heart out by the first few seconds of the song.
yoongi was shocked, but also wondered why jeongguk had been so scared to come out and dance, if he was so good at it. but yoongi understood being shy, as he used to be way worse than jeongguk in terms of being nervous to put himself out there.
when the hype had died down and the group had slowly started to leave, yoongi approached jeongguk, asking the famous question, "wanna get outta here?"
jeongguk chuckled and said, "sure."
and so they went out for ice cream, and stuffed their faces full of vanilla and sprinkles and chocolate sauce and nuts and everything under the sun that they had at the ice cream parlor. yoongi took jeongguk home and the older asked, "will i see you again?" and jeongguk replied,
"definitely."
