Summary:

After successfully stealing Twilight's crown and returning to Equestria, Sunset Shimmer confronts Princess Celestia, demanding the throne she believes she deserves. To Sunset's surprise, Celestia immediately grants her wish, appointing her as Equestria's new ruler before calmly stepping aside.

Sunset intends to enjoy every second of it, but instead, she finds herself tested in ways no spellbook could have prepared her for.

As the kingdom's problems grow more complicated and even the sun itself refuses to set, she'll have to choose between the ruler she always wanted to be and the pony she's capable of becoming.

I had a similar idea like this for an oc too. She hoards all my ideas and her big hair gets in the way sometimes. Might redo this someday on actual canvas with actual paint but it would be second in priority as i would like to paint my horses play uno piece first

I know the fainting is a reference to fainting ladies from a certain place/period but i’ll take it, given she’s in a modern setting.

Also, in reference to the photo’ed clip in particular): she gets energy from doing what she loves, even to the point that her friends expect it to tire her. Personally, I find this relatable partly as a fibromyalgia thing. I’m often worried people will say I’m lying about being tired because I still do things I like, but fibromyalgia is very stress related, so /sometimes/ putting in a lot of work is more energizing than resting against my will. Not consistently though. Dynamic disability.
