May I take a moment to defend My Little Pony? I don't understand why so many people hold so much...scorn for it :/ I mean I was OBSESSED with it as a little girl and although I'm nowhere near an avid fan now, I still like the show. I know it went through that weird couple of generations where the episode plots turned from "an evil centaur is turning ponies into dragons to pull his chariot of darkness and create eternal night" into "oh no we can't let Pinkie Pie know about her surprise party!!!" but that phase is over now, the villains are back, the presence of danger is back (granted it's still pretty lighthearted but there's nothing bad about that, lighthearted is good, happy is a good thing), plus there're dragons and phoenixes and cockatrices and gryphons and cool stuff like that and the songs are pretty catchy and Pinkie Pie isn't generic anymore she's frikkin awesome and some of the dragons are teenage rebels, what's not to like?
