This is day three of the Mermay challenge. Today's theme is singing in NEONStudios2024's Prompt. If memory serves me right, the Dazzlings' first appearance is in a storybook, and they sing while Twilight describes them as beautiful but dangerous creatures. Because I did them before in different combinations and interpretations by different dA users, I say it really paid off for me now that I took the time and patience to work on them for years. With that and how Gen 1 Bakugan was drawn, I decided to combine that too, making them stand out greatly. Now if only I did a better job at their power.

This little guy will not leave my mind it’s ridiculous!

His colours are pretty muted but it helps him camouflage with the sea water.

He was originally just supposed to be a design for my brain to stop nitpicking the WHY I would call the royal sea pony crest a “Poseidon crest” but now I can’t stop doodling him. He just wants to swim around for the time being it seems.

Already working on designs for his brothers and wife. He’s also a BIG BOY compared to a regular pony this is ridiculous.

Oh, and optional jewelry to spruce up the design a bit more.

His trident is the same colour as the jewelry.

This is day four of the Mermay Challenge. Today's theme on NEONStudios2024 is treasure. The story is that I want to give Interstellar Quartz a little field trip to spend time. Because we're land creatures, I have to borrow the piece of the pearl to turn her into a seapony/mermare, while I can turn into a siren/hippocampus at will. So during the field trip, we came across a treasure, and I just couldn't resist the shiny stuff, with Stella shaking her head with a smile. Yeah, I'm actually overweight in real life, but I'm a little chunky for a siren, but hey, guys love me despite my weight. Anyway, I hope you like it.

This is day eight of the Mermay Challenge. Today's theme in NEONStudios2024 is Seashell. So, during the field trip with Interstellar Quartz, we went to Seaquestria, and we saw Skystar give us a tour. During the tour, she brought out seashells with googly eyes glued on and talked with them like they were actual people. Sure, I'm a crazy girl myself, but that Skystar has been underwater for too long if you ask me. That's when I am telling Stella, "And they say I'm crazy." So yeah, what a time there. I just hope she and I won't have to put up with it again.

This is day two of the Mermay Challenge. Today's theme is the mirror. In NEONStudios2024's prompt, the theme is something to do with reflection. Remembering our dazzling Adagio Dazzle, who is kinda the shining kind, she would look at herself for hours. I decided to draw her in Bakugan anime style since her hair is the kind of color to fit. And it's a good thing that MustLoveFrogs has an interpretation of sirens when it comes to eyes. I did a little tweaking on the fins to make them more part of the body, so it looks like it's natural. I hope you like it.

This is the final entry of the Mermay Challenge. Today's theme in NEONStudios2024's prompt is.... Well anything. It's a free space, so I decided to make it a source of light (or bright light). You know how in MLP there's the Crystalling. There's a siren equivalent to it, and it's called the Shimmering. It's when sirens celebrate the newest member of the royal bloodline of the hidden siren kingdom (somewhere under the water of the Crystal Empire). With all the hate converted to love thanks to the hate from the Crystal Empire, the magic in the kingdom became stronger than before. A certain core of the kingdom is a twinkling tear-shaped gem. If broken, without its protection, the curse from the empire before will bring a very eternal darkness to the kingdom, similar to the winter in the Crystal Empire (and we know who to blame before his banishment). For the first time ever, the royal bloodline had a siren foal that was born half siren, half succubus (a sicubus). Melody (Jaden/Judai's Daughter) is a siren in the royal bloodline, as Jared (Chazz's son) is an incubus, so that makes sense. I had fun this year's mermay, but next time, I'm gonna be careful with my health and be caught up on what I draw, so I won't waste my health. Oh boy......!
