so sanji has been hiding his wings for so long under his coat... but surely, chopper would need him to take that off for his checkups, especially after fights to check for any injuries, right? did chopper promise to keep them a secret?

Hi! since the story pre timeskip actually lasted some months (I've heard from 2 to 9 months but that's.. u know.. speculative) the only one that actually knew about Sanji's wings was Kureha since she healed his back in Drum Island.

Sanji was told how to change his bandages and some time later he didn't need them but he still used them to hide his wings.

Chopper was told by Doctorine that he didn't need to keep track of that since she already treated him and it would take Sanji some months to heal completely.

I think Sanji managed to keep that up until they were separated in Fishman Island and Kureha just kept the secret.
