if its your friends u dont wanna see u could say its a family thing? or that you have to do something or have a headache or something? or if its your family you could try that you're not feeling well, or that you just wanna relax alone for a while?

The main problem is that I back out of plans fairly regularly. Its not even my plans, my parents and sisters made plans to hang out with some family friends tonight and I'm really not in the mood to go. And I really do have a cold, but my sisters don't believe me.

Plus, the idea of having the house to myself for a whole night sounds too amazing for me to pass up.
