I'm not gonna lie to y'all I don't understand why people keep saying Meet Me @ The Altar is "the female twenty one pilots" like ??? where? They're closest to pop punk if anything and tøp has never been that but the genre assigning isn't even the issue I have here it's just the bands sound completely different? And ik Edith at least is a fan of tøp and perhaps that's where this started?? but like...being a fan doesn't automatically equal having the same sound. AND EVEN THAT'S NOT MY MAIN ISSUE like "female twenty one pilots" be so fucking fr like y'all into one all girl band you immediately gotta compare like stfu
