Just a Number
The last panel is actually too graphic for G-rated audiences, carry on. by G-rated I mean Genesis because he gets tossed over the ledge into the town below, hitting the ground before his wing could properly deploy In the eventuality of it all Riku and Genesis work together to get Sephiroth's memories and their world back. They actually develop a good relationship, bonding over past mistakes. Note Riku calls him G because that's all Gen goes by for a while after he awakens from Deepground. He doesn't feel he's himself anymore, y'know. There's no age clarification in Crisis Core, but if we're going off what people say with Sephiroth's age, he's about 40. Timeline stuff. At the very least, he's older than Sephiroth by at least a year or two (I tend to round it up to 2, he's 1 year older than Angeal, just about.) If Sephiroth was 30 in Crisis Core, FFVII takes place 7 years later, and then 2 years after that is Advent Children- around Genesis' awakening after Dirge of Cerberus, Sephiroth would be 40, Genesis would be 42. Maths. In conclusion, Riku's not wrong but he doesn't have to say it.
