When you accidently aerosolize your seasoning and it becomes a bio hazard to your resident vampire.
Look, garlic is delicious ok?
May or may not be based on a real cooking incident.

You ever unsure whether something you remember is a dream or was real?
"so it needs a bit of milk, and garlic, and some pepper, and garlic, and some salt, and garlic, cheese, onions, maybe some garlic" "honey you forgot the garlic"
Nothing better about cooking that having your fingers smell like garlic for a couple days
Hey who wants to get shawarma with me even tho is 1030pm right now and nowhere's open that sells shawarma, at least in my city?
Just popping in to say - garlic scape pesto is delicious. Garlic scapes, a bit of walnut, *chef’s kiss*
So I hear! But somehow, despite my providing the scapes, I did NOT get any of the pesto my friend made. She told me it was YUMMY and gave me NONE.
The nerve, eh?
I guess I’ll have to try it this year!
Ow ow fricking OW!
Managed to burn my wrist tonight; had made garlic chicken for supper, which involves baking inside a sealed pot in the oven; I decided to use a stainless steel frying pan since it was too small a recipe of it to bother with the full dutch oven treatment (the full size recipe uses two whole chickens, cut in parts). Was reaching for the spoon to serve myself and the inside of my wrist brushed over the metal handle of the pan, just minutes out of a 350F (177C) oven.
Thin skin. Lots of nerve endings. Right over a tendon. I think I got it under cold water fast enough that it’s not going to blister, but holy hells I can only think of one past burn that hurt anywhere near this much. And of course it’s my right hand, so it hurts any time I move it. Currently relying on a bagged ice cube wrapped over it to keep it numbed down enough so that it doesn't sting too badly.
The chicken was at least delicious. One of those dishes I adore (because garlic) but only make on very rare occasion (also because garlic).
I put an entire clove of garlic into my noodles and I feel like a dragon now because of how bad my breath is...its like breathing fire every time I open my mouth
the problem with making my own garlic butter is i'm gonna smell like garlic for a week
