Okay so basically one day Lil-B is riding a squirrel through the vents when he stops over Dark's office as he's yelling at DA. Basically, Dark eventually yells out "and I told you to stop calling me Damien!" So Bing does a search on that name and finds old newspapers about the mayor and and all the crazy stuff about Markiplier Manor (past newspapers and modern day paranormal theorists love the unsolved mystery) and he begins to piece together that it has to be SOMEONE from back in the day

>By pure coincidence however, Wilford mentions later in one of his weird half coherent rants that Dark running IplierInc reminds him of the good ol’ days when he was mayor and Bing remembers what happened earlier
>’Mayor Damien’ bring up way more possible results and a history Bing couldn’t have imagined
>He spends all night and half a day reading through, saving, analyzing, and putting together all these articles about a mystery murder
>Strangely enough, most of what he goes through has recounts of the Mayor after the events, but based on what he’s put together from Wil and Dark that,,, can’t be right
> He ends up going through the guest list and searching for the best candidate to still ‘be hanging around’
