Cute gem couple I drew and designed pearls and a fusion form for based on a randomly generated description! "These two are a loving couple! They prefer to not permafuse, as they both enjoy living individual lives, however they love to fuse when attending events or when working together. They live fairly tenuously within the empire, their high status granting them a small amount of leyway with their actions. When fusing for work, its more often than not to create temporary bases for Omega troupes, or creating war gem memorials, but they also enjoy a fair bit of recreational time together, exploring the various planets their lines of work take them to. When apart, they keep touch via their pearls' holopads."

Manta

[they/ey]

(loyalist) "Manta has seen a lot, but takes it all in. They have seen gems in all different states of disrepair, but simply see it as an inherent part of living. Ey do not often grieve for those lost or poofed, and keep their distance from other gems. Ey are afraid that if ey form connections with other gems ey won’t be able to do eir job as well. They work hard and keep a calm, subdued demeanor. They do not easily bond with other gems, but may give them advice."

(rebel) "Manta only becomes a rebel after their world has been turned upside down. Their gem has sustained some damage and ey are MAD. They maintain eir view of all good things coming to an end, but now see the cruelty of the empire and need it to end so good things don’t end for no reason."

"A morganite with the ability to take it all in and see the work around them with a steady eye that most focused gems don’t possess. "

Manta is a late addition to the Comet Crew. I more commonly played them as a loyalist and they have a sleepy demeanor. After corrupting and rebelling they are still a very tired gem, but rather than being blissful it turns into an irritable crankiness.
