Went to the LFS yesterday and they had a crazy show oranda for sale 🤯 Enormous, like maybe the biggest fancy I've seen irl. And a surprisingly pretty good swimmer for being so top heavy.

🎠 Goldfish carousel!! 🎠

This was done with ink, colored pencils, graphite paper, and adjusted digitally to get rid of the ghost lines left by said graphite paper 🥴 (also some color adjustments and light effects!)

I worked on this off and on over the course of a few weeks, whenever I had time...I wanted it to feel like a ceramic knickknack you'd find at a thrift shop, something soft and loved. But with goldfish, because I am who I am.

Oranda goldfish!

It is a breed of goldfish that has a distinct fleshy growth on its head called a crown or a wen. The wen may require special care from the owner of the fish (like careful trimming), as it can become overgrown or infected!
