krypton lives and kara did not sign up for this sounds so interesting!! i wanted to participate but i don't have enough wips yet (which is only more inspo to do so) but i wanted to send this!

She’s not going to kill Kal, Kara decides. She’s going to tell Aunt Lara on him. 

“Alright,” she sighs, tabling her vengeance for the next weekly check-in from Aunt Lara. “I’m making rice and fish, then, and giving you milk to drink. We’re not getting fancy for your first foray into Kryptonian cuisine. I’d have to be able to cook for that to work out, for one thing.” 

“You can’t cook?” Thirteen says. 

“I went straight into the Warrior Guild the day I was of age,” Kara snorts. “They don’t really push cooking as a life skill in the army.” 

“You didn’t have KP duty?” Match asks, looking skeptical. 

“I don’t even know what that is, so no,” Kara replies frankly, pulling out the fish and rice. Hopefully Earthlings eat crystal fish, because that’s what she got the most of at the market. It was on sale and she still doesn’t know what kind of appetites to expect these two to have; sue her. She also bought flying eel and chainfish and even flash-finned shark, because she absolutely godsdamn panicked, but still, mostly it’s crystal fish. 

She’s going to be eating a lot of crystal fish if Thirteen and Match don’t like it.

this is a remaster of a challenge i had on my previous account (that one is still circling around thanks to some talented simmers <3) i wanted to try a new angle at it though, thanks to @birdietrait & @wildmelon's challenges!

the gist of the challenge is to get bingo and create a sim with whatever choices you got. you can do this vertically, horizontally, and in a criss-cross pattern! as long as you have five choices honestly, it's fine. at the moment there are no other rules!

i would love to see the creations you guys make with these so if you make one, please either tag me or use the tag #simsbingomm in the post.

(also if there aren't enough options in this one i definitely don't mind making a ver. 2!)

to see you say the wedding arc is an ode to cinderella and sleeping beauty might've healed my heart a little,, princess cadence has always been one of my favorite mlp characters + sleeping beauty is one of my favorite disney movies and i think aurora and philip's dynamic match cadence and shining armor very well !! i can't wait to see what you guys are cooking up fr 💖

Definitely. Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella are probably our favorite classic Disney films (Sleeping Beauty is one of the most technically and aesthetically perfect animated films and Cinderella's finale always gets me a lil'). There'll be lots of little homages, from the character designs to certain scenes.

hi! just wanted to say that someone rec'd me a robin in a nest of bats and i ended up reading it all in the span of two days! reverse robins is definitely one of my favorite batfam concepts and it's awesome to see you doing it so well and all these different scenarios!

i am curious though, would you ever consider including duke thomas into your work as well? i'd be really interested to see how you not only write him, but what his dynamic would be in the family.

I have thought about adding Duke a lot, and I do plan on it at some point. When I started this fic (over 6 years ago now holy shit), I hadn't read a single thing with Duke in it. I've read some more now with him in it (though still woefully behind on current stuff). I'm just thinking on how to add him in (plus do a refresh on his backstory).
