What's your rec list of Mallowstep's greatest hits that Jace is sleeping on? I need to get deeper into your bibliography outside the true and tested ones I already reread a bunch.

not sure what you've read, but here are my top 5 fics that i think are underrated...

you can set yourself on fire (but you're never gonna learn) (kind of new for me to say it's underrated but literally 0 people have asked me questions about it and i think df!heathertail is a fascinating concept so)

writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear (are you the black sheep of an abusive family dynamic? then you might enjoy this harespring character study about not knowing how to relate to your siblings and a lot of other things)

He fell in love with Dovewing in those moments, the ones when the world was quiet and still, and she was at peace. He wasn’t certain, but he liked to think she fell in love with him in those moments too. In the moments when there was no one assessing him, and all he had to do was make her happy.

He had kept them whole. He had been lucky, in part, but they were all alive and together. He couldn’t make Ivypool forgive Dovewing, but ShadowClan had accepted her easily. She belonged there. Tigerstar hoped that, in any universe, he would have been able to do that for her. Provide a place where no one thought of her as anything more than Dovewing.

i Absolutley disagree with the idea that tiger and dove have a favourite child.

He had vowed to himself, when they went on the quest, in the drought, that he would make her happy. She was only an apprentice, then, and the world already weighed so heavy on her. He wanted to make her laugh.

since i’m posting this out of context, to be clear, this is platonic at this point. he just sees a scared teenager and wants to fix that

They were young, memories of the guardians still balancing out the Clan. They saw their brother and mother leave, and they didn't want to be alone.

Tigerstar had taken them just outside of camp, so they could see the stars. He had explained that StarClan watched over all of them. That Dovewing was looking up at the same stars, and StarClan could see them both.
