I had a whole rant I wanted to spew about the popular people in the yugioh verse and how I wish I were more popular, but then I think about how I /am/. But I'm popular among the people who are really good yet people don't always give them a chance for whatever reason. I'm popular among the shy and the ones who have to go on hiatus a lot so the more well known role-players end up losing their patience. I'm among the ones who stand up for themselves I am the rebel Ryō Bakura, and I'm important to the people who care and you know what? As frustrating as the silence can be, as seeing other people get fawned over can be, as thinking 'I can role-play just as well as they can' gets to be.. The community also needs people like me to help give the rest of us a community to be welcome in. According to some, I'm popular. According to others I'm an annoying shitposter Ryo. And again according to some others I'm not even worth a thought. And I'm coming to terms with this. I want to be a beacon in the darkness. I want to be here for people who need me, in this community that has helped to shape me. Like Ryou Bakura, I am a fighter.
