Empty Horizon
Wander stood outside the entrance of the hideaway, disappointment and deep concern etched upon his visage. A tattered woven band fluttered in his hand, eyes barely focusing on it. Droplets of pale grey mingled with snow as his feet, a trail of the viscous substance leading down the stair of their haven.
Sunset wasn’t here either. The wanderer had hoped beyond hope that what he told the other sentry was true, that Tarma was likely ill and the was the reason for her disappearing from her post for a few days. Yet with every location that he investigated, the likelihood of that scenario plummeted. There was still a chance, still a few more places to check, but Wander wasn’t getting his hopes up.
He suspected that Yuki was free again. Wander was actually hoping that was the case at this point. Yuki he could handle, he’s done it before and once more shouldn’t be any trouble now. Anything worse though...
...the droplets fell with increased frequency at the thought.
(We’ll find her.) (Damn straight we will.)
The amalgam clasped the shredded gift close to their chest and ventured forth. Waterfall was their next destination, there were a few caves that still needed to be inspected. But it was Hotland and the lab within that was to be their true goal. Slip in to the hidden labs and see if Tarma had somehow ended up there. If not, then use Alphys’ extensive camera network and see what there was to see.
