andatouchofhope tagged me in a question thing, so here I go! (BTW IF YOU SEE THIS, I’M NOT QUITE SURE WHO YOU ARE BUT FROM YOUR ANSWERS ESPECIALLY THE FOOD ONE I THINK I KNOW YOU IN RL. SO IF I DO, PLEASE TELL ME? I WASN’T FOLLOWING YOU BEFORE BUT I AM NOW…)

1. Favorite class: Probably English. I adore books, writing, and my teacher so I usually do pretty well in there. 2. Favorite song: This changes daily. At the moment it’s The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy. 3. If I could go anywhere in the world, I’d probably go to New Jersey. I have an amazing buddy who lives over there who I really want to meet some day soon. 4. Favorite quote: Most of the inspirational writing related ones I’ve heard can go here. Otherwise my specific one is “But Neku, I thought you couldn’t afford to lose? Give up on yourself, and you give up on the world.” by Joshua from The World Ends With You. 5. I get along so well with my best friend because we’re so similar. We met because she joined a roleplaying forum I made, and we both love writing. We come up with the best ideas. Usually those come from her and I help develop them, but many have turned out so well. Also, I feel like I can trust her with anything (and I do). 6. Favorite after school activity: READING AND WRITING REALLY ARE THE BEST THINGS EVER. 7. Something that makes me smile: People who do really kind things to and for others without expecting anything in return. Seriously, those people are the rays of sunlight in this dark world and life would be so much worse without them. 8. Top 5 qualities about myself: Oh. Umm… I like that I truly care about people I don’t really know. I give fairly good advice. I can laugh at myself (and often do because I’m such a dork sometimes). Most of my smiles aren’t fake. The only people who I feel like I don’t want to be friends with are those who are mean to others (so if anyone wants to talk, I don’t always see my messages, but feel free to send me something). 9. 3 Favorite Books: I just finished City of Glass in the Mortal Instruments series, and that was really good. Also, Soul Mates in the Souls Trilogy (when you stay up all night for a week reading it you know it’s good). Lastly, I adore The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon (though that’s a trilogy in one book). 10. If you could go back to your life before Tumblr, would you?: NOPE. I AM A PERFECTLY HAPPY TUMBLR ADDICT. Besides, I like my life now a lot better than my life before Tumblr. 11. If I could be fluent in any language, it would either be Latin or some fantasy language. If I could speak or write the language of some awesome fantasy creature that would be great. I’ve already kind of made my own number code, which is kind of a language except all i’m doing is translating from English.

Canonically Cu doesn’t know about Gilgamesh but I like to think he does and that Gilgamesh is basically his roommate from hell.

Actually a Cu and Gilgamesh roommate au would be even more hilarious than with Archer.

Hello! I have a question about the Fate Stay Night visual novel vs the anime and I was wondering if you might be able to answer it for me? In the visual novel is the only way to recharge prana thru intercourse and eating souls, or are there other methods?

Magical energy (prana) and life energy are just two forms of the same energy, and while it's never said outright in the vn it's likely that it's possible to convert the one into the other with little difficulty. This is why eating human souls is a way to replenish prana for servants: they consume the life energy of the soul and convert it to prana to sustain themselves. The sperm of a male magus contains a lot of prana too, so intercourse is essentially an easy way for a male magus to give a lot of prana in one go. There's a throwaway line about poor male magi selling their sperm to the association for quick money since it's basically a jar of magical energy that the association can use at will.

Both methods are essentially just an energy transfer so there are definitely other ways to recharge prana. Towards the end of Heaven's Feel Rin draws in the prana in the cave to bundle it into an attack so it's safe to assume that magi can take in the prana of their surroundings to recharge. Prana also recharges itself naturally, although I'm not sure if that is because magi absorb the prana of their surroundings or because their bodies naturally produce prana. The scene in Fate/Zero where Waver sleeps at the place where he summoned Rider to allow for maximum prana recharge suggests that it's a combination though.

Who is your fav member of the Org? And your least favorite?

Oh geez. I better hope none of them find my blog, huh. Obviously my favorite member of the Org is myself (I'm kidding!) Actually, everyone would think my favorite would be Xigbar, but honestly that dude is kinda a huge jerk and keeps getting me in trouble. I would say Luxord was my favorite, but he keeps taking all my munny. ;-; Lexaeus is still mad at me over the Zexion incident, and huh. Xion is okay, she's quiet. Maybe she's my favorite. Kinda a hard question, we aren't exactly in the Org because we're nice people, living without emotions seems to turn everyone into jerks. My least favorite is a lot easier to answer, it's either Larxene or Saix. They seem to go out of their way to make my life miserable.

What animal are in the pride lands?

Uh, alright, so this is kinda a funny story.So you know how someone has gotta do magic to make you look like an animal? Well of course the Org's resident illusionist, Zexion, is in charge of that. Which you know, wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't managed to "accidentally" soak him while he was lugging around some of his favorite books (it was Xigbar's idea). It just so happened that I did that the day before I got sent to the Pride Lands, so when it came time for Zexion to decide what animal I got to be, it wasn't some sleek cheetah or fluffy hunting dog.No, I get the honor of being a water buffalo. (I choose not to take those missions if I can avoid it.)
